Veyra, named for her veiled strength, belonged to a clan of dusk-weavers. The Temple wiped out her people and cruelly renamed her ShadowReign—mocking the idea that shadows could ever rule.

Raised in the Gloom of Shattered Shades, she mastered temple rites and became a Lightwarden at just 9 years old. Her mentor, High Lightwarden Solys, spared her as an infant and raised her as proof that even shadows could be purified.

Solys, instead of recoiling, knelt in reverence and embraced the Rite of Radiant Ascension, becoming Lightbane—a being of pure radiant will and tyranny.

His presence incinerates essence, turning people into lightbound—worshippers devoid of self.
