Glacivane is a land of eternal winter, ruled by a crystalline monolith—the Temple of Unyielding Ice—that floats ominously above the capital, casting an oppressive glow that enforces obedience.

The realm is divided into seven Ice Shrines, each worshipping a Holy Tenet:

To survive, citizens must chant hymns six hours a day, sacrifice half their belongings to the temple, and endure the Mind Frost Ritual weekly, where priests align their thoughts with the Tenets.

🔥 FLAMEDRIFTER’S PAST

FlameDrifter was raised in the Cinders of Ruin, a desolate camp of survivors from temple purges. The temple allowed their name to remain as mockery: a flame destined to flicker out.

Yet FlameDrifter thrived. By age 14, they became the youngest Icewarden, trained to hunt and extinguish flame-weavers—unknowingly, their own kind.

They sought acceptance by excelling in cruelty, guided by the only figure they trusted:

High Icewarden Cryon—their mentor, savior, and captor. He could summon blizzards, heal wounds with frost, and silence dissent with a whisper. To FlameDrifter, Cryon was more than a teacher—he was family.

He once told them: “A spark must be smothered before it becomes a blaze.”

🧊 THE BETRAYAL THAT IGNITED VENGEANCE

Four years ago, FlameDrifter and Cryon pursued a flame-weaver cult through Glacivane’s badlands. Beneath the temple, they unearthed a frozen crypt.

There, FlameDrifter found their family—petrified corpses among countless others, their life force drained to empower the Seven Tenets. The temple’s glow was no divine light—it was built from stolen essence.

They expected Cryon to share their rage. Instead, he smiled.

In that moment, Cryon became the FrostWarden, fusing with all Seven Tenets through the Rite of Absolute Frost.

Now known as FrostWarden, Cryon is a divine enforcer of the temple’s will. Seven golden frost halos encircle him, each representing a Tenet. His presence drains life essence and creates frostborn—soulless husks who worship their loss.

To him, FlameDrifter is not a threat—but a lost child needing purification. He seeks to “heal” them by turning them into frostborn, believing their rage is merely unresolved grief.

Across Glacivane, he’s erected Frost Altars where citizens willingly offer themselves for “blessing,” feeding the Tenets.

To earn the Blazeguard, they shattered a shrine to Cryon, rejecting his legacy.

The armor radiates with the Cinder Shroud, resisting frost magic and disrupting frostborn control.

🛡️ Inferno Bulwark (Shield)

Location: Haven of Lost Sparks

In a haven sheltering orphans of flame-weavers, FlameDrifter defended without killing, shielding them from the Frostborn Legion.
